Decided to remove the passenger pegs for a cleaner look and to remove a little weight, win win! After removal there were four unsightly threaded bolt holes left on the beautiful frame so a quick trip to OSH to source a simple yet elegant solution!

Marco Makeup

Started the restoration process on Marcos upper fairing. As of now the plan is a light coat of matte black, some new decals, and then a light coat of matte clear coat. You may also notice I left the rs50 decal on the front.....I am planning to keep it as an original detail for the bike.

RC390 Scratchy Speedo

During the shake down ride I found it difficult to see the dash display due the PO using improper cleaning technics. Luckily I have a set of Novus plastic cleaners/polishers to help the situation. It's not perfect, there are a few really deep scratches still visible, but at least I should be able to see it now. Please spend a few bucks on some microfiber cleaning towels and the proper cleaners so you don't ruin your bike!

First Ride

Rode the rc390 for 60 miles today to get familiar with the bike.

Just picked up an almost new RC390!

Marcos dash pt1

Spent a little time refurbishing the dash. Replaced the faded tach with one I had laying around and cleaned the speedo and temp. Need to dig up a new foam surrounding and it's good as new.
