Decided to take the DRD on a final ride, before it goes to the new owner, to the Cars and Coffee San Francisco held at pier 32. This time they were supposed to be featuring 1972 and older motorcycles, but the bike section was a bit thin. I better email the organizer to open it up for all unique bikes next time for a better turn out since there were quite a few motorcycles parked outside that probably would've payed to show at the event. Glancing over the few bikes there I immediately noticed the beautiful red italian mini sitting in amongst the triumphs and Hondas. This little 50 smoker has beautiful details to look at everywhere including the unique rear suspension system, crazy can looking exhaust, and straightforward controls. Seeing an old italian bike like this really helps you to appreciate the craftsmanship that used to go into each and every vehicle of the time. If only we still had small companies committed to quality like this today.
